Variable track gauge to optimize stability when using heavy attachments, the KX018-4 tracks can be expanded to a maximum of 4'3.2" and retracted to 3'3.0" to make passing through narrow doorways and tight work possible. Either adjustment can be made in just seconds by operating the independent track gauge lever.

All Kubota excavators have a two speed drive that allows for efficient machine maneuverability and backfill operations. The auto-shift system enables automatic travel shift from high to low depending on traction effort and terrain. This gives smoother operations when dozing and turning.

A spacious operator station designed for greater comfort, with a fully flat floor for more legroom, digital panel with easy access, simple settings and easy-to-read indicators and alerts. An option, the cab allows for easy entry and exit, with an easy-open front slide window.

Convenient Two-pattern Selection System (TPSS) allows you to change between ISO and SAE operating patterns with a quick flip of the TPSS switch – without tools or leaving your seat.

The KX018’s auxiliary hydraulic system accommodates a variety of attachments, such as breakers and augers. Standard equipment includes port pipes on the arm, bi-directional auxiliary hydraulic controls, and a control valve. The auxiliary hydraulic connections are located within easy reach and incorporate short hoses that are less likely to become tangled or damaged.
