Kubota bale choppers are rugged, dependable and versatile machines designed for daily operation without compromise. Set to low speed, the flywheel ensures a metered flow of silage or hay for feeding. Set at high speed, these choppers have the power to blow straw bedding with up to 65' (20m) away with accuracy. The height and angle of the discharge chute is controlled hydraulically, offering simple adjustment from bedding to feeding positions.

Solid construction ensures reliable performance and long machine life. These models features a heavy duty transmission with two speed gearbox for bedding and feeding. The floor conveyor drive is also heavy duty to cope with high material volumes.

Kubota BC1200 mounted bale chopper is specially designed for working with straw for bedding purposes. The 2m3 chamber offers fast and easy loading of bales and the rear door offers the possibility to carry an extra bale for improved efficiency.

The control box is an easy to learn terminal with focus on functionality and simplicity, providing full control of all functions from the tractor cab. Speed and direction of conveyor, open and close function of the tailgate, joystick steering of the chute and adjustment of the Drum Feed Control System position.

The shredding drum is fitted with 14 knives standard on the BC1200 and BC1300 PRO, but will accept a total of 42 knives according to material type. A unique angled knive design, passing the ‘comb’ on alternate sides provides even feed to the flywheel, reduces blockages and helps decrease cleanout needs.

The 5’1” (1.55m) diameter flywheel on the Kubota BC series is fitted with 6 blowing paddles, providing powerful and efficient distribution of the material and excellent cleaning of the flywheel housing. In combination with the 2-speed gearbox, the flywheel can throw straw up to 65’ (20m) away depending on bedding material and conditions.

The 4-stage swivel chute offers joystick comfort control and is a cost saving solution reducing waste. Depending on the material and conditions of the barn it can blow bedding up to 65’ (20m). The 4-stage movement also optimises feeding
